Meal Credit & Flex Cash

Food has an important role to play in building culture and community on campus. Saint Martin's University and Bon Appétit Management Company are dedicated to ensuring that every student receives delicious meals that meet their dietary needs and that all students feel welcome and safe when dining with us. Please review these Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q.) to learn more about meal credits and flex cash.

When can I use my meal credits?

Meal credits can be used for brunch and dinner.

Where can I use my flex cash?

Flex cash can be used for breakfast and lunch in the cafe.  It can also be used in Monks Bean and Parsons Convenient Store.

What if I don’t use all my meal credits and flex cash at the end of fall semester?

Meal credits and flex cash roll over to spring semester if you sign up for a new meal plan

Can I pay for my family or friends to eat in the café using my flex cash or meal credits?

Yes, you are welcome to use flex cash or meal credits for anyone.  Just make sure you are present when making the purchase.

How many meal credits will I be charged to feed my family or friends?

You will be charged one meal credit per person.

Is Saints Cash the same as Flex Cash?

Saints Cash and Flex Cash are used in the same way.  Flex Cash is attached to your meal plan.  Saints Cash is purchased with a credit card and added to your SMU ID card.

Is there an incentive to purchase Saints Cash as opposed to purchasing my meal with my debit card?

Yes!  If you purchase at least $100.00 in Saints Cash, you will receive an additional 10% more..
